"Praise You...Like I Should" Original Painting

Why is it that we can’t see what everyone else sees in us? Why does it feel like it takes a lifetime to fully accept and love who we are? Why are we so mean to ourselves?
I named this piece “praise you… like i should” as a dedication to the self.  We should all be viewed as beautiful, layered, loving pieces of art.  Because, aren’t we?

This is your reminder baby. You are a goddamn gem. Don’t let that mind mess with you.
Listen to that voice that is from the depths of you.  The one that wants to love you so hard.
